Predictive intelligence is squarely front and center on the agenda. Last year, Salesforce rolled out the Sales Analytics Cloud, and 6sense was one of a handful of companies selected for the launch. Since then, Salesforce has made major strides to bolster its analytics and predictive functionalities for users by adding functionality to its own product and working with partners like us.
In July, we announced that Salesforce Ventures invested in 6sense. The investment is powering deeper integration so joint customers will have the ability to do deep-dive analysis on their sales process and identify which prospects are in market to buy and where to prioritize sales and marketing efforts. Rather than just looking at historical data, customers are now able to make data-driven decisions on the kind of marketing investments and sales strategy they should pursue in the future, based on 6sense’s predictions.
At Dreamforce, Salesforce will be covering the inner workings of its Analytics Cloud and exploring how its version of predictive intelligence can be used to improve and focus engagement with prospects. Best practices, roadmaps, implementations and new add-ons for Analytics Cloud will be among the main themes this year.
