Julie’s life has been surrounded by rhythmic gymnastics, which was the sport that brought her to her Olympic dream at the summer Olympic Games in 2012. Shortly after retiring from the sport, Julie moved to Los Angeles and received a degree in Literature, Communication & Media at the American Jewish University. While earning her degree, Julie became a rhythmic gymnastics coach and continued coaching and mentoring children for 5 years. The love she had for her sport and teaching brought her to Seattle where she accepted a role as the program director of a team in the greater Seattle area. After 10 months, she decided she needed a new and invigorating challenge and decided to make a career change.
In August 2018, she was offered a position as a Business Development Representative at 6sense. She is extremely excited and eager to learn a new line of work at such a bustling and exciting company where she can grow her new career.
