Erik Nierenberg

Erik was most recently the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise at through its recent acquisition by LinkedIn for $1.5B. In that role, Erik lead the company’s strategy and functions across sales, marketing, product, partnerships, and global operations for the corporate, academic, and government market segments.

From 2008 to 2014, Erik served in several leadership roles at, the world’s #1 CRM company. He worked across sales, marketing, business development, product management, and the overall corporate strategy—with a constant focus on driving user growth, revenue, demand generation, product leadership, and customer success. Prior to, Erik was a venture capitalist working with management and at the board level with early-stage technology companies. 

He also worked for five years at Bain & Company, where he led growth strategy, operations, and marketing initiatives in the technology, media, consumer products, private equity, and retail industries. 

Erik has spoken on entrepreneurship and corporate strategy at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Pomona College, and the Rady School at UC San Diego. He is an advisor to numerous start-ups including Identified (acquired by Workday), 6sense, 1app, The Team Group, and Kelvin Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pomona College and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Philanthropy is a core value for Erik, who was part of the initial team at The Bridgespan Group and currently sits on the Advisory Board of East Palo Alto Charter School & Phoenix Academy.
